Magnetic Base Plate

The new Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine has an optional Magnetic Cutting Plate that I highly recommend.  Magnetic Cutting Plate (Plate 5) holds dies securely in place, even nested dies. This slim, portable sheet replaces a Cutting Plate in your sandwich, making it even easier to take with you. Use with the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Hopefully, you are all safe and healthy and making the best of the current situation. On a brighter note, if we have to stay home, we  might as well stamp and craft, right? 

Here's a tutorial for you to use to have some fun while you are staying safe at home.  The products I used are listed below the instructions, but you can certainly substitute something you already have in your crafting arsenal. Hope you like the card. :)
                                                                                                            

                         

Stamp Set: Zany ZebrasPaper: Magenta Madness CS, Basic Black CS, Whisper White CS, 2020-2022 In Color DSP
Ink: Momento Black, Magenta MadnessTools: Laying Circles, Stitched Shapes, Old World Embossing Folder
Instructions:

• Card Base: 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" score at 4 1/4"
• Basic Black layer 5 3/8" x 4 1/8"
• Cut Whisper White strips randomly and adhere to Basic Black Cardstock and emboss with
  Old World Embossing folder.
• Adhere embossed piece to card front
• Cut Designer paper 3/4" x 5 1/8" and adhere to card front
• Stamp image on 2 3/8" stitched circle and color around the outline with light Pool Party
• Cut Basic Black circle using 2 5/8" circle, attach circles together flat
• Adhere focal point with black dimensionals
• Cut greeting from Tasteful Labels die and adhere with mini dimensionals
• Cut Basic Black strip 1/2" x 3" and flag one end and tuck in under the focal point
• Tie small bow with black and white twine and adhere with a glue dot
• Add Magenta Madness enamel dots and one rhinestone which is colored black with a black Blend

• Inside of card: Basic Black 3 7/8" x 5 1/8" layer, Whisper White layer 3 3/4" x 5", stamp
images and adhere to card base

Woot woot! My first “Class to Go” is a wrap!  If you purchased one, I sure hope you had fun putting it together.  I certainly enjoyed preparing it for you. It goes without saying that I miss holding face to face classes.  With the necessary social distancing and the fact that we all touch the same things during class, there just isn’t a way to pull them off right now. For all of our sakes, I feel it is necessary to put those classes on hold for now.  I will reevaluate our options towards the end of June and hopefully things will be much better by then. Since the first “To Go” class was well received, AND June is my birthday month, I will be offering a second one. And, since it’s my birthday, I will be including a special gift for You for MY birthday!  Happy Birthday to me! As always, no pressure at all, simply an option in these unprecedented times.  I truly appreciate your support of my small business. Since you are used to my cards being a surprise until class time, this will be the same, except that all the projects will be from the stamp set shown below.  The stamp set for this class is Dressed to Impress.  It also has a set of matching dies. This was another set that I didn’t get to share with you in classes do to COVID19. The picture at the top of this post will give you an idea of what the possibilities are with this set.  My projects will be different, the pictures are SU samples, but you get the idea. This time I am offering two options.  One is just the stamp set and card kit. The other is the stamp set and the adorable matching dies and the card kit. This set is carrying over into the new catalog and I am SO happy about that. Choose: Option 1—Stamp set only & 6 card kit.         $35.00 OR Option 2---Stamp set, dies & 6 card kit         $68.00 If you already own this stamp set, you may choose something in the catalog that equals $18 or more. You may also replace the bundle for something in the amount of $53 or more. Both options will include some matching designer series paper & embellishments. Without the dies, there will be some fussy cutting. Porch pick up for both options.  If you choose to have it mailed to you, add $8.00 for shipping.  Packets will be made up for you with most of the prep work done, with the exception of stamping. StampinUp policy does not allow me to send stamped images in to-go kits. These will be simple cards to replicate. All you’ll need is your stamp pads, coloring pens, scissors and adhesive.  Of course, you are free to change them up and use other greetings from your own stash. I'll post pictures in a separate email after you pick up kits, so you can see how to create the cards. It's necessary for me to purchase product ahead of time, so I need to require prepayment for this class by June 1st. The packets should be ready by the week of June 22nd.  Barring any shipping delays. If you haven’t already received one, a new catalog will be included. Here's a little inspiration for you as we all work through this crazy time in our lives. I really love this stamp set.  The images are calming to me and that's why I chose to design with it.  I really miss stamping with you and I hope it will be soon that we can resume classes.

Stamp Set:  Beautiful Moments

Paper: Whisper White Thick, Petal Pink, Pear Pizzazz, Best

Supplies:  Scripty Embossing Folder(EF), Champagne Rhinestones, Ribbon, Dimensionals

Instructions:

·       Base of card is 81/2 x 5 ½, scored and folded in half

·       Cut Pear Pizzazz layer 4 1/8 x 5 3/8 Adhere to card front

·       Cut Petal Pink layer 4 x 5 ¼

·       Cut DSP 2 x 5 ¼ & adhere to right side of Petal Pink layer

·       Use Big Shot to emboss the above layer with the Scripty EF

·       Cut 6” Old Olive ribbon and attach to card in the middle

·       Cut Pear Pizzazz 2 3/8 x 3 7/8layer behind stamped image

·       Cut Whisper White 2 ¼ x 3 ¾ for stamped image

Stamp images & greeting in Mossy Meadow and color with blends. Adhere to Pear Pizzazz layer.  Use dimensionals to attach stamped image to card front. Add 3 Champagne Rhinestones to bottom right of stamped image.
