Ever feel really good about doing something totally unexpected for someone? Yesterday was that day for me. My friend Lorri Heiling at stampingaddict@blogspot.com has helped me tremendously along the way with card making. What better time to thank her than Valentine's Day! Christmas Countdown Calendar
My grandkids call these “One-a-Days” because we only can change one each day! We have some other ones, too!
This is a project I made for a Christmas present exchange at weSTAMP. Obviously, I’m an amateur photographer, who can’t seem to get a good picture of this. Since I put the SU Décor elements (retired) on a mirror, everything else is reflected, too! You can get the idea, though. Each day is held on by a magnet. There is also a little tin to hold each day for storage. Sorry the pictures aren’t very good.

Shop Stampin’UP 24/7 Online
This is a total CASE from Jill’s Card Creations here. Her card really caught my eye. I was going on a trip and attempted to gather all my supplies so I could make this card for a swap while on vacation. I thought I was doing well until I got to my destination and realized I didn’t bring the Old Olive cardstock with me AND I forgot to order the Cherry Cobbler seam binding. DuH! I cut and stamped everything else while I was there and then put everything together when I got home, just in time for my swap. So much for planning!

Happy New Year 2010
Here’s hoping this year will be the best one ever.
This is a card for my 7 yr old granddaughter’s birthday.
